‘The Digital Reading Workshop - Jo and Jack edit’, 2020
The Digital Reading Workshop allows participants to engage with the relationship between their interactions with technology and the personal data harvesting algorithms which profile them in order to shape their experience of the world.
This is achieved through a series of three tasks completed by individual participants during a video call whilst under the guidance of a moderator. Each task accesses and uses the participant’s personal data, requiring them to think critically and reflexively about their interactions with technological systems.

The data collected over the course of these workshops was then compiled into bespoke Digital Reading Publications for each participant.
